Welcome to the site..... you might take a look at VAM 5a. The primary feature being the doubled CC, but your photo of the die crack through the T of states seems to match. The area of clashing you enlarged looks to possibly be PMD from another coin hitting that area.

Where's the ice cream..... was at local Wal Mart, never have seen anything like it. With the exception of a few boxes of novelty bars, the entire ice cream section was empty. About 80 running feet of freezer shelves completely empty.......

Found a cheap solution to my 2 acres of mowing.... posted a sign saying "unmowed wildlife area" just beyond my house....

That's exactly what it was to fill my 5 gallon can for my mower last time. And with cutting 2 acres, it goes fairly fast.

Got back 2 rotated Peace dollars in my last ANACS submission, 1922 ccw 40 degrees in AU 58, and 1923 cw 50 degrees AU details cleaned. Will try to VAM them and get a photo or two on here.

Might check out VAM 21D1, possibly early die state, not full cracks / break - which could revert it back to being VAM 21

Old thread, but was going through a few Morgans and found another later die state feature that could be used as a PUP for this VAM... Rim area near the P in PLURIBUS. Have it on 2 examples.

I know we have at least a couple of VAMmers in the Wichita area (Andover is basically a suburb) Hope they didn't have any issues from the storm....

That is true, but makes me wonder how many different VAMs could be identified at this level of wear... maybe a list could be started... or perhaps there is one already. Hot lips would make the list, perhaps an E clash or 2, a 7/8 tailfeather? I'd guess the 90 CC tailbar could survive it. Others????

It was in the land of "Oz" yesterday. A few places hit here in Kansas, Andover hit the worst. We had a 11 mile twister track end about 25 miles west of my place and another touch down about 10 miles due North of here.

Welcome to posting on the site. Take a look at VAM 25 as a possibility, it appears to have a top heavy MM as well.

Just guessing the coming bear market will settle things out......

As I went to register the coin, I double checked my submission coins and sure enough, I sent in the wrong one to ANACS. The EDS 1B is still in my pile for submitting and the one that came back AU 58 is actually VAM 22 - now the top pop VAM 22 in the registry., up from AU 53. Guess that's why we need...
