Thanks.....I had posted pics of the 89CC on the old VAM World site when I first acquired it years ago. I figur...

Pleased in general with my grades, really happy to see my clashed VAM 4 1889 CC came back in a holder - even if it was VF 20 details cleaned. Pleased that both rainbow toned 83o and 84o came back MS 62 (natural toning). The 1891 o VAM 9b made F 12 (Top Pop). One of the 4 rotated Morgans was details ...

Digging up an old thread due to results from my latest ANACS submission. I sent in 4 rotated Morgans and will be looking to ID the VAMs. Noted there is a set for them on SSDC registry, will have to see where they fit in (one 1889, two 1889o and an 1890 o)

The above 1891 o VAM 9b has received an ANACS grade - F12 Top Pop, a small upgrade from my details G4 but will be only the 3rd one registered at SSDC (a nice point jump from 16 to 96 points for my 91 o set)

Seems my favorite date / mm has become a big hit with the counterfeiters. Multiple listings by many different sellers on E-bay, all showing the same coin, most in MS 68 holders (or now covering over the details on the holder). Bad part is the feedback from a sale showing "beautiful coin" I guess we ...

Maybe just me, but the minor scuff marks appear to match up on the photos. Looks to be same coin in my opinion....

Guessing it is VAM 23, with the sister VAM being 19 - 1878 P / 8 TF

I also have the 1891-O $1 VAM 1A1 CLASHED E FR2 PCGS in my set. Looks like the SSDC registry has 2 of that VAM listed in Poor 1. The E is easy to see on lowest grade possible.
