Visited a shop earlier today and picked a few out of the Morgan pile. One happened to be 1921 d VAM 1BG. Neat break across Liberty's neck. The R in trust very light. Thanks to the die crack guide, was easy to find the VAM

Has happened twice to me in past year or so. In trying to upgrade my 91o set, the seller didn't get me, the grading company did.... looked in photos like it was what it was listed as, but closer inspection proved to be another VAM.

But I take most Ebay personal seller grading with a grain of salt.... BU = beat up?

Maybe I am thinking of a different auction site, but I was thinking it was Ebay that planned to offer a (you pay for it) service to get their opinions of grade, counterfeit, etc. on listings on their site. ?? Not a pick as it was listed as a VAM and a cud. And I probably paid too much... but I couldn't help it, I need to attend a VAMs anonymous meeting for my addiction.... LOL Maybe it will upgrade my set as the cleaned 4 I have is only worth 16 points and the G4 that I had listed has been removed by me ...

If you were to eliminate the shiny areas of rub on the high points of the lettering (not just the B, but other lettering as well... noting rub especially on the R of PLURIBUS, as well as on the wheat area) Eliminate that and there appears to be ve...

I saw Brian's name on the dealer list. Hoping to visit with him a bit. I might have to throw my ball glove in the truck. Last time I saw him at a show (at St. Charles, Mo.) we played catch in the parking lot. He throws a pretty wicked pitch or two.

Bumping to the top as this show is scheduled for next week. Hope to see a VAMmer or two attending. I plan to be there Thursday, and possibly again on Friday (if I work out any deal to sell some of my collection)
