Re: O/T Taxman
I got charged sales tax but in Penna. no tax on coins nor tax on S & H if package was non taxable. I wrote EBAY twice & they reduced my payment for sales tax but not for S & P. I paid the 27 cents tax but I'll never do business with the vendor again due to his disinterest when I contacted him for hi...

I've had a 61 , 3 different 65's, an 84, & a 93 vette. throw in a Mustang, Camaro, and a MG Midget. In Penn. you can enjoy them for 7 months with our weather. Dollars can be enjoyed 12 months a year.

Re: Looking for Vam Books and Attribution Guides
I got them all except the 1/2 dimes. My 8 feather book is 1st edition. Some books are autographed by the authors. Not ready to sell yet, possibly down the road when I choose. Sorry for now.

Re: Coin Insurance
For years I had a separate Marine ins. policy from Nationwide. They changed it to be an attachment on my homeowners policy recently. No matter from whom, the more you got the more costly it is. I tried to get prices from a couple of places & they're all in the same ballpark on prices. Since I do sho...

Re: How Long Have You Collected our Beloved Morgan Dollars ???
In the 50's I got a shiny silver dollar from my aunts for birthdays and Christmas. In the 60's I had a paper route with half the customers coal miners who got paid in silver dollars thus so did I. During the 70's my Dad died and my Grandfather feeling his mortality sold me a bunch of dollars for two...

Probably an xf-45 but I'd say MS-62. Some weird grades on some slab companies to get newbies money.

Re: 1880 trade-now sale

Selling for $500 ( Greysheet $574)) plus $10 shipping priority mail plus insured. PCGS # is 34504937. Label attribution reads Hot 50 VAM 11 Checkmark. It appears that it is a VAM 1...

Re: Vam designation "JOH-23" 1921-D
JOH numbers were assigned by Rob Joyce and late Jim Hart thus JOH via 1st letters in last names. They were 21-d's not up to new VAM #'s but able to be recognized for researching purposes as I understand. Fun With 21 book gives a list of their research #'s as of that point in time.

Re: crazy-fast mail story
Just an update. It's been 9 days and still no coin. It's been sitting in the Lehigh Valley distribution facility since April 21st. Emails to USPS ignored and talk to local PO no help. Covid excuses are running thin. Just send me my coin. I live only 70 miles from there!
