The clash lines that you point out is exactly why Brian and I think it’s a 1A1. 1. The clash at the exact center of the neck line. A 1A2 should be to the left of that. 2. Sorry, but the “polishing” isn’t hiding an E clash.
Your coin can’t be a 1B because of the date location. If you look closely at your coin’s date location it is right at 2.5 denticles from the bust point. The 1B is much farther left. Also, notice the 1 on the 1B is much closer to the rim than yours.

It’s a hard VAM to find. Very nice clash in hand. Not really documented that well in the page, but I think it’s a really cool clash. Good luck finding a good example. I also think it is under appreciated. Maybe because it isn’t shown on the page that well. A friend took some photos for me. If I can ...
