Re: 1878 8TF VAM?

I think the second coin is the 14.1/14.1A die pair.
Any one else think so?

Re: 1897P NEW DIE PAIR

Welcome to VW. :D I do not believe that this is a new die pair. There is a clashed version of VAM-10 that looks like a match. Look at the first LFCP (Large Full Coin Photo) and click on the right arrow above the LFCP. This will show you the reverse that matches you clash marks and cracks through the...

Re: 22-D Poss VAM-AC2 ?

Thanks JB. Yes, I did mean 2AC2. I don't know how to revise the title, or I would. You can edit the first post of the thread (since it's yours) and change the title that way. Thank you JB. I tried that, but when I clicked on "Preview" the main title did not change at the top of the preview page, so...

Re: 22-D Poss VAM-AC2 ?

Nice coin. Those are some crazy scratches, breaks? So when does a scratch become a break? I am going to do a guess, when it reaches a certain degree of raised metal?? Be nice.🐍 Longstrider, As I understand it, there has to be displacement for a break to be listed. At times it can be difficult to de...

22-D Poss VAM-2AC2 ?

I don't spend a lot of time on the dark side, but I liked the cracks on the obverse, so I got it. If you all confirm this as a VAM-AC2, the page could use the LFCPs. Sorry that this is not a white coin. Maybe Dr. Close's DC is a white coin for LFCPs. davidkclose colwillys ljs-possV-AC2_obv2 .jpg ljs...

Re: 78-P VAM-112A

You thinking of selling this? Hello JR, I was more interested in the value because I'm a big Kimpton 12 & Clashed G fan. I'm always looking for 112As, and know how difficult it is to find one in this high of a grade that is problem free. However, there has been some good interest in this coin. So I...

I'm exceedingly skeptical about it being clashing of any kind. My hunch is a stain or grease, a planchet flaw, or some form of post mint damage.

I agree with Dennis

78-P VAM-112A

Just wondering what a VAM-112A in PCGS AU-58 is worth?
There are only 10 problem free 112As in the SSDC. Only one MS in 63 and the next highest is AU-55.
This AU-58 would be the second highest.
Thank you

I've been remiss in posting them to the registry. I have a 4-day weekend coming up. Maybe I'll add that to the to-do list.
John,
It's no rush, and thanks for all that you do. :D

Past VAM-e ?

Hello All,
I went to the SSDC to look up a past VAM-e. The most recent VAM-e that I could locate was from June 8, 2014. Where can find all VAM-es from June 2014 up to May 2020?
Thank you,
Lee
