Yea, It took me 12 years to find one. It now resides in an ANACS AU 58 Holder.

The 1922 S VAM 2X1 is one of my DC coins. So, no you are not the only one out there actively hunting Peace Dollars.

I recently picked up a 1923 D VAM 1X2 and have a question about the statement attributed to Leroy in the Comments:
"1. LVA letter Aug 12 2013. VAM 1X2 occurs before 1X1-made note of that in description." Is this a correct statement? It seems to me this comment should read VAM 1X2 occurs after 1X1.

This 1922 D has a B2 reverse with no significant PUP'S. The observe is a different story. There is a rim to rim die break through the top of the Y in LIBERTY terminating with rim cuds at both ends of the break. I have two VAM 32A's. One with the die break in the bottom of the 2 and one without. The one without the die break appears to be a bit earlier then Dennis'.
